A bit of history: Araneta City boasts of a lot of pioneering developments in the Philippines. It's owned by none other than the Araneta family, one of the most prominent Filipino families with Spanish/Basque region lineage, there's a lot that this 35-hectare property has to offer. Here you can find the first shopping mall named after a world renowned boxer; The Big Dome which became a venue for some of the country's best sports and performing arts events; Farmers Market which only offers the best and freshest local produce; and the Araneta Bus Port, which is a hub for local travelers to go to and from the heart of Cubao, Quezon City. Of course, there's Novotel Araneta City by the Accor Hotel Group, which is located just beside Smart Araneta Coliseum and is a great place for relaxation, fantastic dining options and our favorite homemade gelato!
We are so happy to see more and more buffets popping up in the city, but we are also hoping that everyone continues to gear up! Yes, this is a constant reminder to wear your face masks and shields on whenever we are out, be mindful of social distancing practices and continue to clean and sanitize all throughout the day.
The good news is that Food Exchange Manila inside Novotel Araneta City is now back offering their much loved lunch and dinner buffet services for Php1,288++/person, complete with fresh drinks and desserts!
A lot of their food and drinks comes individually packed to lessen contact from other people. Plates and utensils are also only served upon request.
If you are missing 'Dampa style' dining to getting a lot of seafood choices when you visit Food Exchange is highly suggested. You may wonder where they got their produce because the hotel is only a few hops away from Farmers Market, which is by far one of the best places for the freshest sources of meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables, and seafood of course!
They also have themed buffets on certain days of the week, so if you are up for an #ALLSAFE dining experience, it's a lot better at Novotel! The tables are big enough to abide social distancing guidelines, not to mention their system when it comes to getting food!
